What is the NCR model?
Cheap NCR Printing (no carbon required) or carbon-free forms, as the name suggests, eliminated the need for carbon paper between sheets to create multiple copies of the same model. The paper is chemically treated to transfer the impression from the first page to subsequent pages with very little pressure. This works because the underside of non-carbon NCR paper is coated with a tiny envelope that breaks when pressed. The upper part of the subsequent panel is covered with clay that interacts with the dye to form a permanent marker. When writing the top sheet, the pressure causes the small capsules to be broken and the dye is removed on the page below.

NCR models have countless uses, with some of the most common are invoices, data, purchase orders, contracts, work orders, applications, and receipts where multiple copies are required for customers, sales personnel, accountants, agents, mechanics, employees, etc.
What are the sizes of common NCR formats?
Standard sizes for NCR forms are half the page (5.5 "x 8.5"), full page (8.5 "x 11") and legal (8.5 "x 14") although custom sizes can be requested to meet your specific needs. Ink options
Carbon-free shapes can be printed on one or two sides. The front side usually includes the company logo and contact information as well as the form. The back side can be used for legal information or detailed instructions. NCR shapes can be printed in a variety of ink formats from black to full color, or even with PMS or focus colors to suit your company's brand. You can specify different ink options for the front and back of the model.
Binding options
NCR, padded, or binding forms can be ordered in a booklet, a common practice for invoices or receipts.
Padded in sets of 25, 50 or 100, can come with a chip pad support.
